I didn’t always have this business or this blog, but I did always have a passion for creativity and motherhood. From an early age I dreamed about being a mother, likely in part to the incredible one I grew up with, and the incredible one she grew up with (i.e my grandmother). I was fortunate enough to be raised by such incredible role models that implemented in me from the very beginning to not only find your passion, but to let that passion steer you in life, and in your career.
After marrying my high-school sweetheart, I was blessed with three incredible little girls (2 human, 1 canine). As a result, I’m most proud to wear the title of “Girl Mom”, and strive to not only bring up my girls in a creative world, but to raise them with the confidence to follow their passion into their future careers

Determined to create a space for like-minded women to tap into their creative side, while simultaneously juggling life’s daily demands (parenting, working outside or inside the home, etc.), I created “Simply September”.
Here you will find craft tutorials, DIY home projects, parenting tips, party planning inspiration, organizational recommendations, family fun ideas, everyday life tricks, and a HUGE library of FREE printables to download, print and use along the way.
Staying true to the realities of our everyday busy lives, posts will be centered around inspiration and tips that can be carried out with often little time (and as a bonus, little expense). Consider “Simply September” as a one-stop location to explore your creative side.

“Simply September” is a culmination of everything that I love wrapped up under the name of my favorite month. Being born in September myself, both my daughters then followed suit with September birthdays. Therefore, the month will forever remain one of my favorites; as one of the few things I love more than being creative, is being a mom.
My Simply September Shop is first and foremost my clothing line, providing comfortable and unique clothing for women and children. From adult shirts to onesies, all items provide the highest of quality, comfort and design. I love doing custom work so feel free to inquire!

This is a bit of a complicated question… with the answer being “yes” AND “no”.
Yes, in that I spend full-time hours working behind the scenes on Simply September every week.
No, in that I also work part-time as an occupational therapist at an acute care hospital and run my own photography business.
Perhaps most importantly, l’m also a stay-at-home mom when not working out of the home.
