Disclosure: I have partnered with Infuse to bring awareness to others within this post about non-toxic cleaning. As ALWAYS, I only recommend products that I truly love, and all opinions included are 100% my own.
Cleaning- the thing very few love, but ALL must do. Especially at a time in our world when our health and safety depend on it.
For years (yes, years… I’ve found a million ways to be distracted. Mom life will do that to you.) I’ve vowed to switch to a “cleaner” way of cleaning. I definitely understand the reasoning behind the push for non-toxic cleaning. I even have gone so far as to research available products, but I would always find myself dragging my feet on making the switch. Perhaps it was the desire to just finish what was already in my cabinet, or maybe even the fear of the unknown, but I hadn’t yet made the official switch. Then everything changed.
Due to the recent pandemic, I found myself cleaning on overdrive. With family members home all day long and the need to keep them safe and as healthy as possible, cleaning became part of my daily (sometimes hourly) routine.
With each pass of the chemically induced cloth, and spray of the hormonal impacting chemicals, I grew more and more encouraged to make the switch once and for all. If I was ever going to switch to non-toxic cleaning products, now would be the time. A time when I will be exposing my children, my dog, my husband, and myself to potentially harsh chemicals each and every day.
Introducing Infuse cleaning products.
Perhaps no surprise here, but I turned to my tried and true favorite location when searching for non-toxic cleaning products (or truly any products at any time)- Target. It was here that I stumbled upon their new Infuse cleaning products line.
Infuse promises “a cleaner way to clean”. They offer a formula that is biodegradable and free from toxic chemicals like phthalates, parabens, pesticides, formaldehyde, and endocrine disruptors.
Endocrine Disruptors
Perhaps one of the largest reasons I went with the Infuse cleaning brand/system, was due to the guarantee that it was free of “endocrine disruptors”. If you follow me on social media (specifically Instagram), you’ve likely heard me talk about the personal health issues I’ve had all related to hormonal disruptions. After extended nursing my youngest, followed by a freak anaphylactic reaction, my hormones were severely disrupted which caused a multitude of issues. It was then that my endocrinologist strongly suggested that one of the best routes of treatment was to change around products in my household and life- i.e. non-toxic cleaning products like Infuse.
Top Recommendations

- Glass & window spray bottle + non-toxic concentrate (ammonia-free, streak-free shine)
- All purpose spray bottle + non- toxic concentrate (tough on grease and even tougher on grime)
- Bathroom microfiber cloths (hi-lo scrub cloth for deep cleaning, reusable and machine washable)
- Glass & window microfiber cloths (lint-free microfiber for streak-free shine, reusable and machine washable)

- All surface floor microfiber spray mop pad (fluffy microfiber traps and holds dirt, reusable and machine washable)
- 2 in 1 Storage Tote (fits up to 5 infuse spray bottles, 8 infuse cartridges, and cleaning cloths)
Making the Switch
The switch to non-toxic cleaning was honestly so much easier than I thought it would be (of course now I wish I would have made it sooner). I simply added water to the spray bottle and cartridge, and I was done. The spray bottles produce the perfect amount of cleaning product that I can use a hundred times a day (if desired) without feeling any guilt about what I am exposing my family and myself to. The smell is amazing and the savings is something I know I will appreciate.
With disinfectant currently being an item of luxury (with empty shelves everywhere), I love that I can reserve my disinfectant for the areas that truly NEED disinfecting, and use Infuse to clean everywhere else. With an added bonus that it is all environmentally conscious. Reusable for less waste (refillable bottles + reusable mop pads), Infuse is also concentrated which means less to ship (1 truck of Infuse concentrates replaces 30 trucks of traditional pre-diluted cleaning liquids).
Furthermore, thanks to the refillable cartridges, I find myself shopping for cleaning products far less frequently. A one-time investment leading to a long-term savings. For example, 1 reusable mop pad costs $7.99 and lasts over 100 uses. Whereas disposable mop pads cost around $12.50 for 24. Long-term savings when you reuse.
