If you ask someone how they feel about Valentine’s Day, it is rather unpredictable what response you may receive. While one person may adore everything about the holiday and can’t get enough, others may subscribe to the notion that it is a holiday designed by card companies which unfortunately rubs salt in the wounds of those unable to spend the holiday with a significant other.
Now, if you were to ask me, you’d learn that I fall into the category of people who adore the holiday. In fact, a love that has only grown since becoming a mom. Sure it is cheesy and silly in many ways, but as far as I’m concerned it is just another awesome opportunity to show those I love just exactly how much I love them. Furthermore, in my mind, Valentine’s Day is far from a day that is exclusive to the love you may have for your significant other. Instead, I believe it extends to the love you have for your children, parents, grandparents, friends, coworkers, and more.
