It seems like only yesterday your kiddos were saying goodbye to their teacher and running home to ditch their backpack in preparation for summer. Yet somehow, back to school items are lining the shelves and you find yourself preparing for that official “First Day of School”. With the hustle and bustle of preparing for the year ahead, don’t let the opportunity to document this important first day pass you by. What better way to remember your little one’s “First Day of School” than with my free printable signs?!
These “First Day of School” printables are available for grades 3K-12th and include prompted questions to ensure you always remember this stage in your kiddo’s life. Questions include: “This year, I’m most excited about…” and “When I grow up I want to be…”. Don’t forget to check out the matching “Last Day of School” free printables here for a cohesive look for your scrapbook!
“First Day of School” printables are available for 3K all the way to 12th grade. Make sure to download and print them all or pin this page so you can access it yearly!
Once opening the zip file and downloading your signs, fill in the appropriate boxes (i.e. favorite memory from the school year and future career goal). Then hand the paper right on over to your kiddo and ask them to hold it and smile, in order to capture that special photo! Note: if you want a more polished look, quickly throw the sign into a frame before capturing your photo.
The Perfect Keepsake
Use your photo as a perfect addition to your scrapbook, a fun picture to send off to family, or a way to track your child’s progress through the years when lining them side by side at their graduation party. No matter how you use them, ENJOY!
