Have you ever found yourself in need of an inspiring quote? Some uplifting group of words that would encourage you throughout your day? Or perhaps you already have found that perfect saying that motivates you daily and you are wanting a way to incorporate it into your home decor as a daily reminder. Overall, you have come here because you are looking for quote decorations for walls!
If any of these scenarios sounds like you, then please enjoy not only this ultimate list of inspiring quotes but also a few creative ways to incorporate quote decorations for walls!
Why incorporate quote decorations for walls?
Truth is, implementing sayings and quotes into your home decor is far from an original idea. In fact, I’m confident in stating that somewhere around 80% of homes (if not more!) display a quote or two amongst their decor. Think signs on the wall, picture frames with text, cross stitches, etc.
If you were to ask me exactly why so many homes already have quotes and sayings incorporated into their decor, my answer would be quite simple. First, quotes are inspiring, motivating and encouraging (and who couldn’t use a pick me up every now and again?!). Second, because they are easy. You find a quote you like displayed on a sign, you purchase it and up on the wall it goes. So you may be asking what is the possible downside? This answer too would be rather simple. Because as wonderful as these pre-made signs are (I’m the first to admit I can’t get enough
of them if only you could see every room in my home!) they don’t allow for personalization. With every quote having a different impact on a different person, it is no surprise that different sayings mean different things to many of us.
How to incorporate quotes into home decor?
With creative words comes creative inspiration, meaning the possibilities for decor are endless! Here are just a few ways I chose to implement some of my favorite sayings into quote decorations for walls.
Chalkboard
Wanting the opportunity to change quotes out on a daily basis (if desired) I love to incorporate chalkboards into my home. Whether displayed in my kitchen or at the base of my stairs, these jumbo chalkboards are ideal homes for quotes.

Printed and Framed
Upon creating my wine nook (check out how to make your own HERE) I decided that the wall space above was the perfect place to incorporate some of my favorite sayings. In order to create this look, I simply chose different fonts to type out these quotes. I then had them printed on photo paper (can also be done on cardstock) and framed them. The end result was a fun display of some of my most inspiring quotes.
I created a similar look when I was unable to find a sign long enough to fit over my family room windows- this time choosing three frames to display one quote.
Painted Signs
When you can’t find a sign with a favorite saying, why not create your own? By stopping at a local craft store, I simply turned a solid piece of wood into a hand-painted quote. (Check out how I made this sign HERE.)
